2016 has been such a great year for us. We put more focus on flipping houses, expanded our business into home staging, I began offering design consultations so that I could help homeowners to fall in love with their homes, and we decided to start a family of our own!
Some days I think back to where I imagined I would be at the age of 27…it’s safe to say I would have never anticipated being in Saskatoon, SK – 25 hours away from my family and childhood friends. My grandma always told me that, “I march to the beat of my own drum” but I doubt even she dreamed that I would flip houses and live in the coldest place on earth 😉
I got to do some pretty cool things this year – Both Brad and I had the privilege to stand beside three of our closest friends as they married the love of their lives – Brad competed in the Canadian Amateur Championship and God willing, he even let me caddie for him in Ottawa – My love for antiques heightened to an obsession and I randomly bought a church pew on Kijiji – We purchased our very first (of many) investment cows – We hired a business coach, Stefan Aarnio, to help us explode our business (to all my female followers – he’s single ladies!) – And we had the joy of telling our family and friends that we’re expecting our first baby.
As 2017 fast approaches, I have so much excitement for all of the new adventures coming our way. With only two weeks left in 2016, Brad and I are excited to slow down and fly back to Saint Louis, MO to spend Christmas with my family. We are so thankful for the love and support we have been given this year and can’t wait to share many more excitements with you in 2017. Thanks for following along with us on this crazy journey <3
