Spring Vibes – Freshen Up Your Home in 4 Easy Steps

The light at the end of the tunnel is here!  Spring has finally arrived and now is the perfect time to spruce up your home before the busyness of summer hits.

Spring vibes are all about going lighter and brighter!  Say goodbye to those warm winter hues and hello to bright and bold pops of color.  With just a few simple tricks of the trade, you can have your space looking “Spring time ready” – without breaking the bank!

Here’s 4 simple Spruce approved ways to achieve that Spring time look:

#1.  Add Some Green!

Bringing in just a few plants can really liven up a space.  With so many unique plant stands on the market, incorporating a cute green plant has never been easier.  Set it next to a couch or position it in a corner to add a pop of color to your neutral walls and furniture.

#2.  Do a Pillow Swap!

Pack away those warm hued winter pillows and swap them for some light spring ones.  Check out my favorite pallet to use when shopping for spring pillows.  Remember – an easy trick to achieve a designer look is to pair a patterned and solid pillow together with coordinating colors!  For an even bolder look – add a pop of PINK into this color pallet 🙂

#3.  Switch Out Old Light Fixtures!

Looking for a more “all season reno” to really liven up your home for spring?  Switching outdated pendants for lower cost and definitely more ON TREND fixtures can make a huge impact in a space!

#4.  Re-decorate Your Front Porch!

Time to put those reindeer’s and stuffed Santa’s away so you can make room for flowers, green wreathes, and bright colored door mats. Check out this Spring / Summer door mat from target.com.  By adding just a few simple pieces to your porch, the curb appeal on your home can be totally transformed!
