The Riversdale Mansion

Some people may think we’re crazy for taking on a project of this size and caliber, but when Brad and I walked through this house for the first time, we knew we couldn’t leave without making an offer.  Built in 1903, this house was totally original, aside from a kitchen reno completed in 1950.  With baseboards so tall you can’t even imagine and glass detail above each door, this house cried out to be salvaged.

We’ve named this house The Riversdale Mansion because of its size and location.  Just over 2,300 square feet and 2 1/2 stories high, this house is situated one block away from the breathtaking Saskatchewan River.  The entire house is being designed around a modern farmhouse feel, with plenty of vintage details.  We plan to keep as much of the original character as possible; including a claw foot tub and 1930’s fridge we plan to refurbish.

Bringing such a unique design to life takes the hardwork and dedication of contractors to make sure everything is completed correctly and on-time.  We have been blessed to begin working with Scott and Steve Schroeder, owners of S & S Home Developments. Over the next 2 months our team will be working hard to get this house completed by its deadline.  We’ve got some awesome events planned to take place at this house after its completion, but can’t  spill the beans just yet.  Just do us, and yourself a favour and mark your calendars for the evening of December 8th…you won’t want to miss this!
