The Schultz Reveal

The Schultz Reveal

Another “Home Sweet Home” complete!  Welcome to The Schultz, our most recently completed custom build in the Haultain neighborhood of Saskatoon, SK. This house is 1,450 square feet and truly packs a punch full of design.  Our clients, Amanda and Logan had such a fun design style that we had the pleasure of incorporating into their home, and we’re thrilled to reveal the full project to you guys right here!

From the outdoorsy feel on the exterior to the serine and colorful atmosphere created on the interior, this is one of those houses that makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the front door.  It’s always been important to us that we fight that “cookie cutter model” that exists in the new build space of our community and create a product that will stand out for its beauty.  We went with Tree Moss vinyl siding and an Early American stain color on the wood accents to really give the house almost a cabin feel.  The wood detail was something different than any other build around, and turned out just perfect!
For the main floor, we did one of our very favorite differing width laminates from our friends at Flooring Superstore Saskatoon.  The differing widths give the flooring a “real wood” look for half the price!  In the back entry and powder room, we went with a patterned grey luxury vinyl tile…luxury vinyl tile is known for being softer and warmer on the feet – great for high traffic areas or for anyone with kids 😉 It’s also WAY more durable than ceramic tile.
THE KITCHEN <3 I could literally write a million blog posts on this one area LOL.  The two-toned cabinets (Prosecco and Oyster Bay) are absolutely stunning and to top it off with the Ocean Foam quartz was a definite win!  We went with two doors with glass “X” detail to give the kitchen some character and matched the “X” design in our over-the-sink pendant.  We source all of our cabinetry from Superior Cabinets in Saskatoon and our countertops through Pristine – both of these businesses deliver top notch customer service and we wouldn’t take our clients anywhere else!

Moving upstairs into the floor plan of the second story, I have to mention the Jack and Jill bathrooms – a favorite feature of all of ours!  This allowed our client’s two daughters, Aurelia and Kaia to connect their room with a bathroom and share the space together…I think this is such a sweet feature for two little girls.  I could go on and on about this house and how much fun we had buildings it for the Regier’s.  Each custom build and renovation brings new friendships, experiences, and beautiful spaces created.

Amanda and Logan – thank you for choosing us as your home builder.  We are honored to have taken on the task for you and cannot wait to see you grow your little family in this house!
XOXO
Kaitlyn
